July 8th Sunday Group Run to Red Pine

Trail Runs

 

TheGroup- after a fabulous run from Armstrong to Red Pine lift- and Yes! we took the lift down.  We deserved it.

The group was prepared with their hydration packs and several varieties of nutrition.  Our running coach- Fast Eddy

kept us going with his incredible humor of his many marathon race encounters on the respective courses he had run.

Never will I forget those stories and I am planning on banking them for my upcoming Marathon when times get tough out there.  Thank you to all of you that made this run fun.  For those of you that are running Mid Mountain this is a “have” to course of the marathon to train on.  This portion of the course is mentally exhausting and you  need to know that going in so you can prepare your footing as this is the most rocky and when you are tired ‘things happen”.
